Jacobs, Madeline D. (Balfanz, Springborn) age 87 of Stillwater died Monday, September 30, 2002. Beloved mother of Mark (Nancy) Springborn of Baldwin, WI and Jenise (Mike) Jansen of Stillwater; grandmother of Bryce and Indy Springborn; also stepchildren and step grandchildren.
Madeline was a generous and kind person who loved all animals, especially her dog, Honey. She enjoyed gardening and crafts and made quilts and baby sweaters at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was also a wonderful cook and homemaker. Madeline was employed at West Publishing for 18 years as a linotypist. She was a long time member of Swiss Society of St. Paul, and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Stillwater.
Funeral on Thursday, October 3rd, 11:00 am, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5th & Walnut, Stillwater. Visitation Wed., October 2nd, from 5 - 7 pm, @ Bradshaw Funeral & Cremation Services, 6061 Osgood Ave. No., Stillwater and 1 hour prior to services at church. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
