Age 100, passed away Monday, 1/19/09. Preceded in death by husband Lyle; brothers John, Robert and Richard Peck; sisters evelyn McCandless, Eileen Weinmann and Marie Urista. Survived by daughter Phyllis (Bob) Schmidt of Stillwater, MN and son Lyle Franklin Of Sun City West, AZ; grandchildren, Barbara (Jim Persoon) Schmidt, Robert (Lori) Schmidt, Mark Franklin, Lynne (Larry Pecorella) Franklin and great grandson, Mark Schmidt along with nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Marcia was born in St. Paul, MN of Feb. 7, 1908. The world changed greatly during her life, but her core values of faith, hard work and fun remained the same. She built her career in the millinery business, later opening her own business in St. Paul. She and husband, Lyle, became avid golfers and enjoyed many years with friends at North Oaks and their later years living in California and Arizona. Marcia returned to Minnesota in 2004, making Stillwater her home.

Mass of Christian Burial at ST. MICHAEL?S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 Third St., Stillwater, on Tuesday, January 27th at 11:00 am followed by a family hosted luncheon. Visitation one hour before the mass. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
