Age 92 of Savage, passed away, surrounded by family, on January 16, 2015. Beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Proud member of the U. S. Marine Corps. Marie raised her four children in south Minneapolis and spent many years in retail sales; always dedicated to friends, family and her Country. She loved her game shows, crossword puzzles, card games, trips to Canterbury and listening to Frankie and Dino. Pre-deceased by her parents and two brothers; dear sons Gary and William Grossman. Survived by loving children Thomas and Michelle Grossman; grandchildren Daniel (Marianne), Jonathan (Erin), William and Loretta (Cory); great-grandchildren Neven Tyler, Ryan, Arlaina, Liam and Jamie Marie; sister Betty Hansen. Service Thursday 11:00, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. So. Burial at Fort Snelling with full military honors. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Memorials preferred. "Marie had an unparalleled way of laughing that will never be forgotten"
