Age 47, passed away suddenly on November 29, 2016. Preceded in death by father, John Williams; grandparents, Charlotte and Sherwood Mellom, and Loren and Sally Williams. Survived by mother, Kathryn Williams; brother, Ryan (Shelly) Williams; niece, Kennedy; and many family and friends.

Mark John Williams was born on May 2, 1969 in Willmar, MM. He grew up in Lakeland, MN and graduated from Stillwater High School. He was an excellent athlete and played baseball, soccer and football. He enlisted in the U.S Navy after high school and was in the Nuclear Engineering Program. He attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from Century College with AA-Applied Science. He worked as an application engineer at 3M for 23 years. Mark was a seasoned triathlete and enjoyed golfing, snowshoe racing, traveling, volunteering projects, jet skiing and spending time at the family lake cabin.

Mark will always be remembered for his big smile, kindness, intelligence, sense of humor, gentle manner, generosity, proud Navy veteran, workout discipline and athletic accomplishments.

Memorial Service 11 AM, Thursday, December 8th at Memorial Lutheran Church, 15730 Afton Blvd., Afton. Visitation Wednesday 4-7PM, December 7 at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater and one hour prior to service at church.
