Lawson, Mary Adine

Age 67 of Minneapolis, passed away peacefully on her own terms. Preceded in death by mother, Helen Louise Lawson. Survived by father, Roderick Adams Lawson, brothers Roderick Alexander Lawson and David (Judith) Lawson, nieces and nephews, Kate, Natalie, Alex and Paul, and many cousins and close friends. After growing up in Stillwater, Mary graduated from Lawrence University with a teaching degree and later from William Mitchell College of Law with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Mary taught English in Connecticut and Minnesota, practiced law locally, worked for legal aid for many years and was a referee in the Hennepin county courts. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Feline Rescue (felinerescue.org).
