Memorial Service for Mildred C. Sawyer, age 93, of Stillwater will be Tuesday, 11AM at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 813 W. Myrtle St, Stillwater. Family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service at the Church.
Mildred died Tuesday, November 6, 2007. Mildred graduated from the University of Minnesota and worked as a social worker for 35 years. She was a volunteer for the American Red Cross. After retiring from Washington County she traveled extensively throughout the world.
She is preceded in death by husband, Hollis and son, Philip. She is survived by son, Richard (Diane) Sawyer; granddaughter, Diane Sawyer; step grandson, Jeremy (Dina) Thompson; great granddaughter, Alexa; sister-in-law, Ruth (Harry) Peterson. She is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
Memorials preferred American Heart Association or First United Methodist Church.
