Nancy Baird

Passed away peacefully on November 8th, 2010. Born January 14, 1923 in New Haven, Connecticut. She is survived by husband for 61 years, John Baird of Oak Park Heights; children Steven (with wife Deborah), David (with companion Cynthia), Andrew, and Carolyn (with companion Corry); grandchildren Cayley, Carolyn, Timothy, and Linnae; special friend Joy Dolby, and caregiver and family friend Sara Zeuli. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of the Gables Care Center for their compassionate care of Nancy.





Nancy will always be remembered for her constant love for family and the joy she found in domestic engineering, gardening, music, books, theater, and friends. She was a devoted member of Ascension Episcopal Church, and the Primrose Club, Stillwater.





Nancy requested any memorials to be directed to St. Croix Valley Foundation, 516 2nd Street, Suite 214, Hudson, WI 54016 for one of two funds, either the River Fund, or the Ascension Episcopal Church Fund, or a charity of choice.





Memorial service Friday, November 26, 2010, 2:00 P.M at ASCENSION EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 214 North 3rd Street, Stillwater. Family will receive friends following the service at church.
