Nelson, Norman T. Age 82 Of St. Paul Resident of Lyngblomsten Care Center, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 15, 2006 at HealthEast - The Pillars Hospice. Survived by his wife, June of 58 years; son, Bruce; daughter, Pam; brother, Victor (Marge) of AZ; sisters, Ilene (Ray) Delk of FL and Hermene (Steve) Barthold of MN; sister-in-law, Donna Nelson of NJ; brother-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Penshorn of MN; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Norman and Eve; and brother, Clinton. Norman was an active member of his church, life member of Macalester Lodge #290 A.F. & A.M., 58 year member of Skyway Y's Men's Club, member of the Osman Shrine, Osman Temple Patrol, and Square Post #203/Arcade Phalen #577. Self employed for 60 years as a manufacturer's agent. Graduate of Washington High School Class of 1941 and Metropolitan State University. Memorial Service 11AM Monday August 21, 2006 at MACALESTER PLYMOUTH UNITED CHURCH, 1658 Lincoln Ave. Private interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Visitation Sunday (TODAY) 5-8PM at BRAD-SHAW, 678 South Snelling Ave. at Eleanor. Memorials preferred to Macalester Plymouth United Church, YMCA Kids To Camp Fund or HealthEast-The Pillars Hospice.
