Died on November 1st, 2011, at the age of 96 ½.

Preceded in death by his wife, Alma; son, Ivan; sisters, Annetta Hanson and Iva Reed. Survived by his son, Avery (Renee); sister, Maie Boe. Born in Grassrange, Montana in 1915, he also grew-up and farmed in the Brooten area. Oscar was a World War 11 veteran. He moved to Minneapolis in the 1950s and raised a family there. Retired from Ceco Steel after 28 years.

Funeral Service Thursday, November 10th, 11:30 A.M. at BRADSHAW, (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Avenue South, Minneapolis. Visitation one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
