Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 31, 2008. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Shirley; children, Steven of St. Paul, Peter of Iowa City, IA, Kristin and her husband, James Lefferts of Mitchell, SD and David and his wife, Ann of Woodbury; grandchildren, Peder, Kelsey and Karl Lund and MaryAnn, John and Carlos Lefferts; and many cousins. Preceded in death by infant grandson, Charles Lefferts. Memorial service Monday 11AM at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 6201 Osgood Ave N. with gathering one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred to the church, Boutwell?s Landing or 1900 Michigamme Steam Engine Fund.
