age 53, of Mpls., died July 13, 2006 from lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents and several pet dogs. Determined to live a meaningful life in spite of disabilities, she focused on living mindfully in the present and developing her mind. In the last few years she enjoyed quilt making and studying art at an atelier. Her beloved dogs, Ingrid and Dogen, were her most recent "children." She is survived by her loving husband, Stan and two sisters, Lorrie Burckhard of Mpls, MN and Christie Wright of Poulsbo, WA; sisters-in-law, Roberta (Norm) Duggan of Blue Earth, MN and Sue (Bill) Motl of Mesa, AZ, and their families; mother-in-law, Geraldine Johnson of Mankato; and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 2 PM at ST. STANISLAUS CHURCH, corner of Western Ave. & Superior St., St. Paul. Visitation Monday, 5-8 PM at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Mpls. and 1 hour prior to Mass at the church. Instead of flowers, donations are requested to Hospice of the Lakes, 8100 34th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55440.
