Richard Abnet

Richard Abnet came to Stillwater in 1961 and began to renovate an old farm and set up his studio in the barn.He became interested in ceramics while studying architecture at the University of Minnesota in 1958, where he received an undergraduate degree in art. He received his Masters in Ceramics at the School for American Craftsmen in New York. He now works full time as a potter concentrating on utilitarian pottery and religious commissions.
