passed away on November 7, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Merl & Phoebe. Survived by wife of 55 years, Joan; son, Daren (Jolene) Dykes; granddaughter, Brittany; sister, Phyllis (Raymond) Belanger. A bighearted, generous man, Richard was the neighborhood fix-it man, repairing lawn mowers and bicycles for anyone in need. He was an avid motorcyclist from age 16-70, and worked for a time as a motorcycle mechanic. Funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, with visitation 6-9PM Monday and one hour prior to service. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Save-a-Bull Rescue.
