Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 14, 2014. Born in Ivanhoe, MN in 1933. Served during the Korean War. Loved his job as a welder. Avid woodworker, gardener, Twins fan, and most of all a devoted Catholic and family man. Preceded in death by son, Ricky; brother, Don; brothers and sisters-in-law. Survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy; children,
Carol (Mike) Bisson, Mike (Kathy), Cheryl (John) Wieremann, Julie (Allen) Nelson, and Tony (Wade Vaughn); 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings, Marcel (Joan), Ray (Dorothy), Lenny (Judy Beltz), and Maryann (Donny Lietz). Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 10:00 A.M. at CHURCH OF SAINT JEROME, 380 East Roselawn. Burial Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
