Age 74
Passed away January 11, 2018 after a long battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by parents, William and Irene Evans. Brother, William Evans Jr, sister; Linda Younkin, and sister, Vicki Evans. Survived by beloved wife Mary together for 33 years; daughter, Lynette Hoveland, son, Steven Evans (Christine), daughter, Merrie Bogdanovich, stepson, Derald Theis; grandchildren, Robert, Nicholas, Jessica, Ashlie, Brenden, Brady, Samantha, Kayla, Jacob, Meggie, and Nina; great grandchildren, Jack, Cam, Linzie, Ebba, Brooklyn and one more on the way; sister, Joann Evans, and brother, Alan Evans. Retired from the Science Museum of MN where he had worked as the manager of the Omnitheater for 23 years. He was very proud of the time he spent in the Army and truly felt honor in his accomplishments and of being a Veteran.. Celebration of Robert's life will be held Saturday January 20th from 12:00-3:00pm at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice St. Saint Paul, MN. Burial will be held at Fort Snelling in the spring.
