Robert Vincent, age 81, of Minneapolis. Born February 25, 1922, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died July 30, 2003. Robert was a WWII Veteran, Lieutenant, Chief Radio Officer in the Merchant Marines, and member of the American Merchant Marine Veterans-Viking Chapter. We say goodbye to a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by wife, Ruth (Scallen) Groff; daughters, Kathleen Leael Neuman (Robert Wilde), Jane Anne Scallen (Steven Wells), and Mary Louise Tyson (Norm); surviving grandchildren, Lieutenant Christopher Gilbertson (Amber), Eric Gilbertson (Randi Jo), Joshua, Naomi (Jake), Adam, and Elizabeth Neuman; Joseph, Daniel, and David Wells; and Leah Tyson (Lance); surviving great-grandchildren, Alex Gilbertson; Zachary, Megan, Jacob and Dalton Shields; and Noah Gilbertson; surviving niece and nephews, Marie Stevens, Mike Cain, Patrick Stevens, and Tony Stevens. Service Monday, 1:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW (McDIVITT-HAUGE), 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 4:00-6:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to the service.
