Robert believed passionately in the value of hard work. In his lifetime he was a paperboy, a student at Fenn College, a Signal Corpsman in the Pacific during World War II, a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and, finally, an employee for 42 years of 3M Company, first as a Chemical Engineer and later as Vice President. He was closely involved in the development of Scotch Brite. Born March 25, 1924, in Akron, Ohio, Bob was the oldest son of Frank and Ethel LePage. Always delighting in the company of his family, Robert is survived by his wife of 59 years, Esther Eastwold LePage, five children, and thirteen grandchildren, as well as by his sister, Frances Schmidt, and his brother, Frank A.
