Robert Lockyear

Robert J. Lockyear, age 64, died of cancer August 29, 2008, at home surrounded by family in Stillwater. Bob handled his cancer like all of life's challenges: with kindness, wisdom and good humor. He is survived by his wife, Pat; son, Christopher; daughter and granddaughter, Robin and Riley Osterberg; elder brother, Thomas; and extensive relatives and family.





A graduate of UW-Whitewater, Bob was a planner in Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota. He touched many lives and left a lasting impact wherever he worked. An Eagle Scout, he enjoyed fishing, birdwatching, hiking, and traveling. Bob loved to play games and spend time with his family and friends. His generosity, intelligence, sensitivity, respect for others and personal warmth will be missed by those who shared his friendship and love.



A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19, 5:30 pm at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater, 651-439-5511. Visitation one hour prior to service.
