Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather,
Great-Grandfather & Friend.
Passed away peacefully September 27th at the age of 85.
Preceded in death by wife, Delores; daughter, Sandy, & infant son; parents, Louis & Agnes Peternell; brothers, Don, Al & Dominic, and infant brother, Joseph: sisters, Leona, Rose, Alice, Evelyn & Delores. Survived by sister, Melda Richter; daughters, Cheryl & Kathy; grandchildren, Mark, Kathy & Lisa; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Derek, aylee, Nick, Kyle, Brittney & Ashley. Robert was a member of the North End area community & Stonecrest Assisted Living in Woodbury. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, serving proudly aboard the USS Yorktown CV-10 & was a member of the American Legion. He will be missed by all that knew him. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, 11:00 A.M at the CHURCH OF SAINT BERNARD, 197 West Geranium, Saint Paul. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Special thanks to the staff in Telemetry at Woodwinds Hospital, as well as the staff at Stonecrest Assisted Living, Woodbury, for their outstanding care and compassion to the family.
