Born to Dr. Oscar L. & Esther Dahlin on the east side of St. Paul. Roger graduated from St. Paul Academy in 1953, and attended Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut and the University of Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army (Korea), and returned to begin his 30-year career in advertising. He was employed at Campbell-Mithun where he met and married the love of his life, Marvis (Sweet). They celebrated their forty-forth anniversary this year. They had one beautiful daughter. Throughout the years he worked for Mac Manus, John & Adams & Carmichael-Lynch until he eventually ventured out on his own, starting The Buzz Dahlin Co. Inc. which specialized in auto dealer associations. He retired to his home on the St. Croix River and was active in local Lakeland politics. He also worked as an official scribe of the GMSCMCD Croquet Association. Roger is survived by his wife, Marvis; daughter, Elizabeth and her husband, Daniel Nustvold; sister, Betty Wyeth/Campbell of St. Joseph Missouri; many wonderful nieces and nephews. Memorial Service Wednesday, 2 PM at MEMORIAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 15730 S. Afton Blvd., Afton. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
