Passed away July 20, 2008, surrounded by his family in Stillwater, MN Born July 4, 1920 near McGrath, MN to Mabel and Irving Peterson. Published Author/writer of prose and poetry. Veteran of WW II, U.S. Army. Original member of Darby?s Rangers 1st Battalion. Preceded in death by brother, Charles (Chuck) and son-in-law, Gerald Cresswell. Survived by his loving wife, Eunice (nee Lueck); daughters, Diane (nee Peterson) Cresswell and Deb Peterson; sons, Gary (Peggy Hall) and Stephen (Peggy Westmoreland); grandchildren and great-granddaughters; brothers, Gene (Fran) and Keith (Marie) Peterson; nieces and nephews. Memorial Service, Thursday August 7, 2008, 11 a.m. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard (N.W. corner of Hwy. 36 and Co. Road 5) Stillwater. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Private interment.
