Russell Plifka

Plifka, Russell A. Age 58 of Minneapolis, passed away suddenly February 22nd, 2018. Russell was a dedicated employee of Honeywell for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, staying at his cabin, and visiting and helping family. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Laurie; children, Shannon (Josh) Holt, Melanie (Sean) Benham, April (Ben) Macht; mother, Vanda; siblings John, Bonnie and Janet; grandsons, Jayden, Riley, Jace, Rhett, and loving nieces, nephews, family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 5426 12th Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN 55417. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. A visitation will also be held Friday, March 2nd, 4:00-7:00PM at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave. S., Mpls, MN.
