Died peacefully surrounded by family on April 20, 2008. Survived by loving husband, Rev. Raymond ?Ray? with whom she shared 62 years of marriage and ministry; four children, Stephen (Mary), Thomas (Linda), Jane (Jeff) Suddendorf and Peter; grandchildren, Chris (Gabriela), Jennifer, Nicholas (Melissa), Sarah, Edward and Julia; great-grandchild, Eva Luna; sister, Ramona Thaxton; brother, Duane Davis; Moses (Christine) Benguche and their children, Ricardo, Ruthann and Rearealla. Ruth is remembered for her love of all peoples and her gracious hospitality and hostessing. From childhood, she was an avid reader and book reviewer. An accomplished pianist, Bible study and retreat facilitator and parish, community, state and national church leader. Memorial Service will be held 2PM, Saturday, April 26, 2008 with reception to follow at ST. CROIX VALLEY CHURCH, St. Croix Trail (County Road 18) and 7th Street South, Lakeland, MN 55043. Private family interment. In lieu of flowers, memorials are welcomed to World Vision or Lakeview Hospice (The Gathering).
