Ryan, Ruth Caroline Peterson Age 96 - Passed away April 15, in Hospice Care Born 1912 in Victor, CO. Father, Frank Peterson, an immigrant from Sweden; Mother, Hilda Beckman, a first generation Swedish-American. The family of 5 siblings moved to Beacon, IA where Ruth attended a secretarial school. She met Floyd Ryan and married in 1938. Ruth, Floyd, and their two children lived in W.VA, WI, ND, MN. She was district probate judge in Fort Yates ND before retiring to St. Paul.
