Age 84 of White Bear Lake passed away surrounded by family on 10/24/11. Sherwood was born on 2/16/1927 in Blue Earth. He married Dorothy (Fish) on 7/17/1954. Sherwood was a WWII Veteran serving in Germany during the occupation. He worked at West Publishing for 42 years and was a member of First Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 57 years, Dorothy; daughter, Stephanie (Gregg); sons, Terry (Julie) and Jason (Wanda); grandchildren, Leah (Nick) Wittstock, Gretchen, Levi and Luke; and great-grandchildren, Brayden and Joezy; sisters, Mona Nagle and Karen (John) Schulte; uncle, Cap Hanson; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service have taken place with interment at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
