Services for Stevan Eikevik, age 52, of Stillwater, MN will be Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at SHEPHERD OF THE VALLEY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 14107 South Hudson Road, Afton, MN. Interment Fairview Cemetery. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
Stevan went home to be with the Lord, March 2, 2007surrounded by his family, greeted in heaven by his father, Bjarne. Survived by wife, Kim of 25 years; sons, Leif 23, Kristian 21, and Anders 13; mother, Ruth; sister, Kari; brother, Bjarne, Jr.; and many nephews, nieces, family and friends. Steve was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL February 26, 1955. He received a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Florida and a Masters of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. While in Minnesota he met the love of his life, Kim. Steve was committed to his family, his faith, and his Norwegian heritage. Throughout Steve?s lifelong struggle with kidney disease he was always focused on others and accomplished many things. He served as a hospital and public health administrator. He was also a partner in Ike?s Carter Pool Companies in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He loved all those who touched his life and will be missed by many. A special thank you to Dr. Charles Stevens, Dr. David Warden and the medical staff at United Hospital.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the family to be used for the children?s education fund.
