Susan Walker

Age 76, born in Berlin, NH, passed away peacefully on December 3rd, 2018, with her loving husband and daughter by her side.
Preceded in death by parents Robert and Elizabeth Stanley; brother Robert Stanley; daughter Andrea; and grandson Benjamin Walker Hanson. Survived by husband of 54 years Richard Walker; daughter Kate (Brian) Hanson; grandchildren Alex and Grace Hanson; and brothers John and David Stanley.
In her early years, Susan was active in the League of Women Voters while caring for her children. Between 1979-1984 she did fundraising and development work for the Maine Central Institute in Pittsfield, ME. From 1985-2000, Sue and Dick owned and operated the West Springfield Country Store in Springfield, NH. In 2000, they retired to Milan, NH, and later migrated to Roseville, MN, to be with family and enjoy grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Private interment will be held in the spring in Milan, NH. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Ben's Buddies (http://www.bensbuddies.org/).
