A service for Theodore Wright, age 62, of Stillwater, will be held on Saturday, July 31, 11:00 am, at White Bear Lake United Methodist Church, 1851 Birch Street. Visitation will be Friday, 4 ? 9 pm at Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater and one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
Theodore died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday, July 27 after a courageous battle with kidney cancer.
Ted was a salesman for Farmers Insurance Group on the East Side of St. Paul for 36 years and worked at the MN State Fair for 46 years. He was an eagle scout and loved hockey, fishing, traveling and being with family and friends.
Preceded in death by father, G. Allan and daughter, Wendy.
Survived by loving wife of 36 years, Sandy; children, Amy (Eric) Engen, Laurie, and Jeff; grandchildren, Kalli and Will Engen; mother, Elizabeth; sister, Barb (Charlie) Juergens; brothers, Jim & Rich; two brothers-in-law, Wayne (Pam) Scheel and John (Bonnie) Scheel; father-in-law, LaVern Scheel; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the University of Minnesota, Cheryl for her assistance with Ted?s business, family and friends. Memorials are preferred to the Univ. of MN Kidney Cancer Research Program, White Bear Lake United Methodist Church, or the Stillwater Hockey Association.
