At the age of 58, Tom passed away surrounded by his siblings, extended family, and many friends. Most of Tom's life was spent in South Minneapolis so he could stay close to his beloved parents and friends and eventually made Apple Valley his last residence surrounded by new friends. Despite his lifelong health challenges, Tom remained the family comedian - "The King of One Liners" for sure! His sense of humor was his life, and his laugh and smile brought joy to everyone he met. Tom lived a journey with many stumbling blocks... and not once did he ever complain about the hardship in his life. Sometimes, those most in need, share their spirit more freely with others and we believe this was Tom. He made it his mission to surround others in happiness & laughter. Tom is survived by 5 siblings, many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and too many cousins to count. A huge family of love, and also friends who because family. Those he left behind are finding comfort in Tom being reunited with his cherished parents, Patty and Willy. Sitting together again as a family in Heaven, laughing, crying, drinking coffee, and of course, telling jokes! Memorial service Monday, July 16th, 2018, at 11 AM, followed by a light lunch, at BRADSHAW, 3131 Minnehaha Ave, Mpls. Visitation at 10 AM until time of service.
