Tom Forrest
Born May 31, 1931 in Glenwood City, WI to Ben and Minnie (Bittle) Forrest, one of 4 boys, died peacefully at home on September 18, 2016. He grew up on a farm and after graduation he entered the Navy and was stationed in Norfolk, VA where he met the love of his life, his wife Ann. Together they raised 7 children, the youngest of whom was adopted at six months old. Tom was a lifelong member of the IBEW Local #110. He was a devoted and loving husband and father who always found time to enjoy all his children's special events despite the countless working hours necessary to support them. His greatest joy in life was his family. Tom was an avid lover of the outdoors where he spent countless hours hunting, fishing, gardening and vacationing. He also spent countless hours in his woodshop and garage.

Tom was preceded in death by son, Larry; son-in-law, Wayne Baillargeon; brothers, Jack and Bill. He will be lovingly and sadly missed by wife of 65 years, Ann; children, Michael, Diane Baillargeon, Deb (Richard) Kohler, Jerry (Brenda), Steve (Laurie), and Richard; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Joe; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A celebration of Tom's life will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the new General Sams on the Apple River in Float Rite Park from 2-5:00 with a sharing of Memories at 3:00.
