Veryl E. Stone, 90, of Bayport, formerly of Stillwater, died September 7, 2007 at The Gathering, Lakeview Hospital Hospice, at Boutwells Landing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary R. Stone.
Private Family services will be held with interment at Fairview Cemetery in Stillwater.
Mr. Stone was born on April 1, 1917 in Piedmont, Kansas. He and his family moved from Estherville, Iowa to Stillwater in 1957 where he owned and operated the Culligan Soft Water Service until his retirement in 1975.
He is survived by his daughter, Janice (John) Pemble of Stillwater and his son, Jim (Colleen) Stone of Roanoke, Virginia; grandchildren, Johanna Staael of Firestone, Colorado, Benjamin Stone of Longmont, Colorado and Jennifer Stone of Nashville, Tennessee; and great grandchildren, Abigail Staael and Caleb and Kyler Stone.
Arrangements are being handled by Bradshaw Funeral and Cremation Services.
The family requests that any memorials be made to Lakeview Hospital Hospice, 5610 Norwich Parkway, Stillwater, Minnesota 55082.
