Age 84, of Mpls. Passed away on June 8, 2013. Preceded in death by wife, Jean of 46 years. Survived by children, Jeanette (Mick) Pawelski, Jon (Linda), Lori (Tim) Pawelski, and Paul; 9 grandchildren; 9 great- grandchildren; 2 great- great- grandchildren; siblings, Kay, Bob and Joyce. Retired after 25 years of service with the Minneapolis Fire Department. Served after his brothers as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. 4 year letterman with South High School, and he was on the City Championship football team. He enjoyed his retirement fishing and spending time at his cabin on Wood Lake. Service Wednesday, 12 noon with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at BRADSHAW (McDivitt-Hauge) 3131 Minnehaha Ave S. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Autism Speaks (see www.autismspeaks.org)
