Age 73 years of Afton due to complications of ALS. He left this world to join Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 4 ^th . Survived by loving wife and best friend of 51+ years, Rita; dear father of Todd (Pastor Naomi Mahler) Lynum, Perry (Susan) Lynum, Kathryn (Michael) Harris and Lisa (Scott) Shaver; beloved papa to Abby, Paige & Phillip Harris, Matthew & Megan Shaver, Mariah, David, Sofia & Grace Lynum; twin sister, Wanda (Fredrick) Holle; brothers, Palmer (Carole), Robert (Darlene), Gail (Ruth), Larry (Sharon) and Steven (Peggy) Lynum and many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Bertha Lynum, brother John and sisters, Bernice, Deloris and Loretta. Wayne was a 34 year employee at 3M. Service Friday 11AM at ST. PETER LUTHERAN CHURCH, 880 Neal Avenue So, Afton. Visitation Thursday 4-7PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd., Stillwater (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co. Rd. 5) and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials preferred to St. Peter Lutheran Church or the ALS Foundation.
