William (Bill) Joseph Kiehl
William Joseph Kiehl, 54, of White Bear Lake, passed away at the U of M Hospital in Minneapolis on June 5, 2012 after courageously battling a long illness.
Bill was born in Duluth to Clifford and Nancy (Borough) Kiehl on September 17, 1957. He grew up in Morgan Park where he graduated high school. Bill was employed by Qwest Corporation for 35 years retiring this past March. Bill was an amazing man greatly loved by his family, friends and co-workers. His love for family, kindness, generosity, friendship and wonderful sense of humor are what will remain with us in our hearts and memories. His favorite pastimes outside of spending time with family included deer hunting and fishing. Bill was always ready to pick up a game of cribbage with anyone who asked.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy, grandparents, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Carol, son Chad (Rachel) of White Bear Lake; daughter, Andrea (Brent) Carley of Oakdale; and son, Tyler currently serving in the US Army; four grandchildren, Kayleigh Carley, Trentyn Carley, Skylar Kiehl and Chaise Kiehl; father Clifford, brother Tim (Jan); sisters Pat Kiehl and Jean (Rod) Fournier all of Duluth; many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
