Lauren R. “Larry”
November 9, 1957 - July 31, 2019
Passed away suddenly, from a heart attack, in his home at St. Mary’s Pt. He was born in St. Paul and grew up on the East Side, attended Sacred Heart, Mounds Park Jr. and Harding HS. He was a Realtor/Broker for Coldwell Banker Burnet and also worked for Edina Realty and various builders. He was active in National Retractable Club, was a Vulcan in the St. Paul Winter Carnival and involved with the Pillow Case Sewers to provide pillows and 1100 pillow cases each year for displaced families at Bridging. 1957 Fords, boating on the St. Croix River and karaoke were hobbies. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Bill Malmgren; his brother, Roger; sister, Joyce and nephew, Nathan Malmgren. He is survived by his daughter, Casie McGuire Beltran (Martin); grandsons, Tristan and Noah; siblings, Kay Louis, James (Rose), Thomas (Judith), John, Sheryl Homan (John) as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, Aug. 12, 11:00 A.M. at SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISI, 16770 – 13th Street South, Lake St. Croix Beach. Visitation Sunday, Aug. 11, 3:00-6:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Boulevard, Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Private interment Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeland. Memorials preferred to the family.
