She lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico and passed away at the VA hospital in Albuquerque.  She loved the weather and was very grateful to get to live where it was a bit warmer and without much snow.  She loved her wisteria plant she once had and enjoyed plants and planting as she grew up on a farm in a family that farmed in Southern Minnesota.  She was proud of her faith in Christ and was raised Baptist, but transitioned to a non-denomination Christian and accepted Jesus as her savior.  Carmen enjoyed playing church hymns and Christmas songs on the piano. When she couldn’t make it to church she would watch it online or on television.

She was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her kids, grandkids, family, and friends.
