Carrie Smith (Zhiiwanagaabowequay)

Age 52, passed on the afternoon of May 29th, 2019. Preceded in death by her biological father Virgil Wind; adopted father Samuel Smith; paternal grandparents Sonny & Dorothy Wind; and maternal grandparents Charles Moose & Ida Skinaway. She will be dearly missed by her children Jennifer Smith, Zachary, Kelsey, Sandra, Juan, and Charles; grandchildren LeRoy Smith Kegg, Oden; nieces Nicole, Stefanie; great nephews Kaw-lija, Kalil; mother Charlene; and sister Christine.
Carrie liked watching movies, listening to old school music, and taking naps. She loved having her children screaming and hollering by her side and enjoyed spending time with family, especially having her grandsons together, and she liked playing cribbage.
Funeral Service 10 AM Monday June 3rd at Bethel's Rock, 7601 Girard Ave S., Richfield. Visitation the hour prior, and interment at Faith Lutheran Cemetery in Isles, MN, to follow.
