Elizabeth “Bette” Ann Berube
Died after struggling with lung cancer
Bette was born and raised in Denver, CO and attended the University of Colorado -
Boulder, earning her Bachelor's degree. While at Kansas State University, earning
a Master’s degree Bette met Robert (Bob) Berube (Boston, MA); they married in
1965. Bette worked as a hospital dietician until the family grew in 1967 and again
in 1968. From Kansas, the family moved to Louisiana, North Carolina, and then to
Stillwater, MN in 1977.
Bette worked as a dietician, teacher, seamstress and
tailor. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and sewing. Preceded death by her
husband of 52 years, Robert; siblings, Virginia Swigert and John L Swigert,
Jr. Survived by her children, Ben and Becky; grandchildren, Alea, Ethan,
Erika,
and Ella.
