Age 34, of Saint Paul

Eric aka "ED" aka "Penguin" was a kind and generous man, taken too soon. He loved theater and sports, the Indy 500 being a family tradition he looked forward to every year. Friends recall, he was SO good at making people laugh when life was rough, and  he drew the best out of and connected with people. Eric's quick wit, made his in the moment jokes spot on. He attended college for theater and his presence on the stage was something else. For a show in his freshman year, he took on a role, and learned lines in about two weeks. He also loved movies and often quoted them. His heart for God was an ever present part of his life and he enjoyed attending church, and counseling camp. He was described by many as an amazing soul, and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his loving parents Paul and Diane, twin sister Erin, brother-in-law Brian, younger sister Wendy, and good friend Hannah.

A memorial service is planned on Saturday May 7th at 1:30 pm at First Baptist Church in St. Paul 499 Wacouta St St. Paul Mn 55101 with desserts and drinks to follow. The service will be viewable via livestream from First Baptist's Facebook page.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the suicide prevention lifeline as this was a charity Eric supported.
