Deuteronomy 33:12

“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in Him, for He shields His beloved all day long,

and the one the Lord loves rests between His shoulders.”

Dr. Genella Stubrud Jemelka (née Taylor), 45, passed away unexpectedly on June 7th, 2020, at her home in Stillwater, MN. Genella was preceded in transition by father James Taylor Sr., mother Genola Taylor, and eldest sister Winnifred Trinastic (née Sellers). She is survived by her son Solomon Stubrud; her siblings Sharon Oglesby, James Taylor, and twin Dr. Ganella Smith;  and by her many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family, friends, and other loved ones who will all miss her magnetism, her beautiful smile, and her self-proclaimed passion “to serve, to lead, and to give back”. The loss of Genella, “Gene” to many and “Jean” to some, will be felt for many years to come, but as great of a loss as this is – many great memories will also be celebrated. We love you and will miss you! Rest in peace.

The memorial celebration of her life will never cease.  Only private family visitation will be held.  Services and cremation have been entrusted to:

Bradshaw Celebration of Life Center

2800 Curve Crest Blvd.

Stillwater, MN 55082
