Jean Remington

Age 88 of Stillwater passed away peacefully on February 16, 2020. Jean was a woman of real grit and love and style, a successful hard-working businessperson and avid traveler who loved her hometown, Chisholm, and who never forgot how to laugh at herself and at the world.

Jean is preceded in death by parents Raymond and Helen (Schweiger) Pesavento and dearest friend Michael Walsh.

She is survived by her brothers David (Bette) Preston and Robert (Jennifer) Preston; children Curt (Mary) Remington, Amy (Mark) Schwantes, and Julie Remington; grandchildren Sarah (Joel) Long, Rachel (Keifer) Klein, Heather Remington, Story Schwantes, and Landon Remington; great-grandchildren Ethan and Ellie Long; and beloved nieces and nephews.

Memorial Gathering postponed due to concerns over family traveling from areas where the novel coronavirus has been identified. Will be rescheduled to a date yet to be determined.
