Joseph Patrick Guinn, 76, of Roseville, Minnesota died peacefully on Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Johns, Maplewood, MN.

He was born on July 10, 1944 in St. Cloud, MN to Simon and Elsie (Valley) Guinn. Joseph graduated from Boys Town, Nebraska in 1962. Upon graduation he enlisted in the Navy for three years. After service he had worked at the MSP airport and also an apartment complex doing maintenance.

Joseph was united in marriage to Judith Ann Gosch on October 4, 1996.

His joys were wildlife and the beauty Mother Nature provided us all. He was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall.

He is survived by sisters, Marlene Anderson (Guinn/Price), Christine Olexa of Temple, Texas; and brother, Verdell Guinn (Pat) of Minneapolis. Also surviving are his nieces, Michelle (Guinn) Johnson of Gilbert, MN, Barbara Kern of Virginia, MN, and Sara Hall of Georgetown, Texas; and great-nieces, Sarah Kern of Duluth, and Amanda and Katie Johnson of Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Gosch) Guinn; his father, Simon Guinn; mother, Elsie (Valley) Guinn; and brothers, Robert Guinn and Gary Guinn (1 year old).

A graveside service for Joseph will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 2PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Assembly Area #2 (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55450).
