Mark R. Madsen age 58 of Hudson, WI (formally of Stillwater) passed away peacefully on January 14, 2012. Mark grew up in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 1971. He was a member of the Concert Choir and the Vagabonds.
Mark became an Eagle Scout at age 14 and earned the Pro Deo et Patria and the Order of the Arrow awards in 1971.
He was employed at Andersen Corporation for 36 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He retired in 2008.
Mark loved to cook and was a great chef. He won many cooking contests with his hot chili recipes. He enjoyed boating and camping on the St. Croix with his family and friends. He and his wife Michelle traveled and enjoyed many cruises.
He was preceded in death by his father, Don. Survived by his wife, Michele of 35 years; son, Aaron (Alisha); daughter, Tiera; grandson, Logan Mark; mother, Miriam Madsen; sister, Maren Rosas and nephews, Drew, Ben and Dan Rosas; and aunt, Harriett Lee.
Service Saturday 11AM at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 115 North Fourth Street, Stillwater. Visitation Friday 4-8PM at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater (NW corner of Hwy 36 and Co Rd 5) and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
