Nancy Mandler, Age 83 of St. Paul

Passed away on October 13, 2021. Preceded in death by parents, Helmi and Elmer Hietala; son, Kenneth. Survived by husband, Roy; son, Scott (Lorna); sister, Judi (Bill) Allen; grandsons, Jeremy, Mitch.

Nancy was employed as a Cosmetologist at the Emporium (Dayton’s) and as a Custodian in the Judges’ Chambers in the Federal Court Building. Throughout her life, she enjoyed time with family and friends at the cabin on Lake Vermillion. She was a talented cook and baker, known for her Wild Blueberry Pie, Finnish Bread and Christmas Cookies. Highlights for her every year were Christmas Eves with the Ahola family and her year-long Skip-Bo match with husband Roy. She was forever and always proud of her Finnish Heritage.

Funeral service will be 11am Saturday, October 16 at BRADSHAW, 1078 Rice St. with visitation one hour prior.
