Patricia Grogan

Born on April 22, 1938 and passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022 surrounded by so much love and all of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Lorraine Perrier, brother Jim and her youngest son, Dan.

She had an amazing life.  Grew up in Withrow, MN with lots of family and friends there.  Her childhood was spent on the family farm feeding her 350 chickens the cattle and their Shetland pony.  She went to the district 10 one room school house for all of her lower grades and then to Stillwater High graduating in 1955.

Pat married Bob Kiesow in 1955 and was working for Olson Transfer at the time.  She then took time at home to raise 3 boys, Randy Kiesow (Denise) born in 1961, Tom Kiesow (Susie), born in 1963 and Dan in 1965.  The divorce happened in 1984.  Dan tragically passed away in 1985 at the age of 19.

She married Maurice Grogan in 1985 and gained 4 more children, Steve Grogan (MaryAnn), Connie Lerdon (Lud), Barbara Senglaub (Steve) and Karen Holmes (Todd).  She was working as a Real Estate Secretary at that time.  She went to school and became a licensed Real Estate Agent.  In 1990 she became a Mary Kay Consultant, then in 1994 she went to school and became an X-Ray tech working for Drs, Wallace and Lawrence at the Chiropractic Clinic in Stillwater.  She retired from there after 7 years.

She was active in the Minnesota Cattle Women’s Association and served 1 term as the President of the National Cattle Women’s Association.  She has also been selling freezer beef for Kelley Farms for 35 years.

She became a Lay Leader and Lay speaker at the 1st United Methodist Church in Stillwater for 4 years – she served on every church committee and also working in the kitchen for Wednesday night suppers, funerals at the church and has currently been in Birthday Club, Church Circle and Bible Study.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice, their 6 children, 11 Grandchildren (Megan Rusten, Dustin Kiesow (Claire), Ginnie Kiesow, Isabelle Kiesow, Jack Kiesow, Becky Rosenwald (Jon-Paul), Bobby Grogan (Samantha), Adam Sunderland (Kristen Lamp), Megan Karlsson (Daniel), Jenni Troff, and Ann Holmes, 8 Great Grandchildren (Denver Kiesow, Stella & Vayda Rosenwald, Alaina & Nora Sunderland, Theo Karlsson, Kyla Prysbilski & Zoe Troff), her brother Ron, sisters, Sandra Greeder, Deneese Ellis and Lorie Magne and many nieces and nephews.

She has, up until these past few weeks, enjoyed knitting, gardening, wallpapering, painting, cooking, cleaning and keeping Maurice happy.
