Rita Adam

Rita Marie (Wolf) Adam was born on October 23,1930 and died peacefully on January 15, 2023.

Rita was preceded in death by her loving husband Roman, daughter Ann Adam Wiessner, parents Marion and Bill Wolf, siblings Bill, Rita and Joseph Wolf, granddaughter Sean Kenney Adam, brothers and sisters in law Sr. Mary Roman (Lorraine) Adam, Doug and Marion McMullen, and Bob Schwinghammer.

She is survived by her children David (Pat) Adam, Kathleen (Warren) Boughton, Michael (Kassy Kenney) Adam, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sisters in law Therese Schwinghammer and Jill Wolf, and many nieces and nephews. Rita will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Rita worked beside Roman helping with the family business. She demonstrated her care for others by knitting endless lap blankets and baby blankets for those in need. Rita was the life of the party. She loved camping on the St. Croix, life at the lake, spending winters in Arizona, praying the rosary, gathering with family and friends, and always balancing the checkbook to the penny.

Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 27 at 10:00 AM at Lumen Christi Catholic Church 2055 Bohland Ave St. Paul with a visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Private burial to follow.

Rita valued Catholic Education and was a proud graduate of St. Matthew's School and St. Joseph's Academy. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations preferred to Highland Catholic School for tuition assistance.
