Robert Buccina

Robert Buccina at the age of 89 Bob went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA. Bob served in the Air Force and was stationed in Greenland. He married his beloved wife, Mary and they raised four daughters. Bob worked for 40+ years with Northwest Airlines and retired to travel the country with Mary in their Winnebago for 20+ years. Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Long) and parents,Bruno & Thelma (nee Mercurio) Buccina; brother, Joe and his wife, Bert, sisters, Rose and Joan, sister-in-law, Dorothy Buccina and brother-in-law, John Kayton. He leaves behind his four treasured daughters, Yvonne Blanchfield, Joan Buccina-Hurley (Brad), Roberta Buccina, and Rosemary Brailly (Spencer); grandchildren, Robert Wilde, Jack Blanchfield, Diana, Louise, and Ella Hurley, and Jacob; brother, Erm Buccina; sister, Marlene Kayton and his cherished nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, September 27th at 10:00AM at CHURCH OF ST. HELENA, E. 43rd St. and 32nd Ave S. Mpls. Visitation Thursday,In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the American Diabetes association.
