Wynn Johnston

Age 77, of Minneapolis. Jesus peacefully called the “miracle man” home on 11/24/2021, the 54th anniversary of his engagement to Marilyn, his wife of 53 years.

Wynn exemplified faith, love, courage, compassion, hope, humor and playfulness. He was a world traveler and enjoyed returning to Germany several times where he had served in the military. His was a life well lived.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, brothers-in-law and niece. In addition to Marilyn, he will be sadly missed by other loving survivors including sisters-in-law and spouses, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nephews and amazing supportive friends.

Funeral service to celebrate Wynn’s life will be held at Christ Church Lutheran, 3244 34th Ave. S. Mpls., 12/15/21.  Service at 11:00 a.m., visitation one hour prior. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
