Mary Patricia Wohlers

(nee McGlinch)

Age 85, lifelong resident of Stillwater

Peacefully passed away on January 17, 2022. Mary was preceded in death by husband, Roger Arthur; daughter, Katherine Jane; parents, Roy and Jane McGlinch; siblings, Joseph, Robert, and Michael.

Survived by children, Gregg (Peggy), Patty (Perry), John (April), Julie; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Mary spent the majority of her career as a homemaker for the family of which included a significant amount of time on a bleacher cheering on her children and grandchildren.

All who knew Mary, knew her as spirited, fun-loving, who unconditionally welcomed all into her home. One of Mary’s biggest joys in life was to have the house full of family and friends and will be forever known as “Cookie Grandma”.

A celebration of life will take place at the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center on June 11, 2022 at 11:00AM.

A private family interment will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to: Lakeview Hospice, Valley Outreach or donor’s choice.
