Arthur F. Boehm died on April 2, 2015 with his family at his side. Art was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 16, 1945 and grew up in Cleveland. He graduated from Case Institute of Technology in 1966 with a degree in electrical engineering and moved to St. Paul, Minnesota to begin a thirty-five year career at Univac Computer Systems (now Unisys) as a mainframe computer designer. Art loved to travel, especially to the Southwest, and took part in many community activities. He was a Youth Week counselor at Camp Unistar in Cass Lake, Minnesota for twenty-five years and spent several years as the treasurer for that organization. He also served for four years as the treasurer for the Irondale Marching Band Boosters and contributed to their many projects as a creative and committed parent volunteer. Art is survived by his wife since 1975, Margaret Crocker Boehm, his daughter and greatest joy, Kristin Boehm, Kristin's fiancAC. Matty Werner, his brother Bob (Paula) Boehm, and many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. His caring spirit, energy and humor will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. A celebration of Art's life will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at Unity Church, 733 Portland Ave, St Paul, MN. A visit with the family will be begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by the service at 6:30 p.m. and a light meal afterward.
